On Tuesday, March 5th, the Redding City Council passed a motion to find a funding solution to replace the fields.
A very exciting step towards getting new fields at the soccer park.
We wanted to say a huge thank you to Mayor Julie Winter, and the rest of the council for supporting the kids and understanding the value and importance of a facility like ours. And a HUGE shout out to everyone who attended in support, and those who voiced their stories. We had over 200 people in the chamber when the vote was made, with plenty of kids still ready and listening patiently after over two hours of waiting.
We're excited for what's in store!
